In the shivering, harsh and deceptively bone chilling Duchy of Blackwatch, much has changed. The weather has not. The raw, biting lands of forever winter remains cold, the northern part of it coated with a seemingly permanent layer of snow. The sun; the beacon of light and warmth, try as it might, cannot remove this– no more than any adversary can remove the spirit of the northern men, clad in the trademark green cloaks. The banners still stand, flowing graciously with the howling, polar wind, standing proud, and the hearths radiate a familiar, particularly comforting warmth.
News spread in the Kingdom of Mercadia that more swords have arrived, following the establishment of the official levies of the Duchy, the Black Watch (link: http://www.teiravon3.com/forums/showthre…8#pid23848), lead by the Watch Commander, Lord Wolfe. The Lord Wolfe, leader of the noble house of the same name, has been dubbed Sir Nathaniel Wolfe, paying homage to his long service to both the Kingdom, and the Second Duke of Blackwatch. Any man or woman who is interested in making a name for themselves in the north should appear at court in Blackwatch, and following the expansion of the township of Oakvale, there’s ample housing available.
